Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio 

Welcome to Lucky Star Dance Company, the ONLY dance studio within a 60-mile radius to proudly hold the prestigious title of being an Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio. Our commitment to excellence and safety sets us apart as we strive to provide the highest level of training for our dancers. Acrobatic Arts' mission aligns perfectly with our own, focusing on equipping dancers with the progressive skills needed to seamlessly integrate acrobatics into their routines, all while ensuring their safety, especially when performing on harder flooring surfaces. Our dedicated team of instructors is well-versed in the breakdown of acrobatic movements, empowering our students to develop their talents and achieve their dance dreams with confidence. At Lucky Star Dance Company, we not only teach dance; we nurture the potential and creativity within each dancer, allowing them to shine like the lucky stars they are.

Classes

Lucky Star  offers Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced dance classes for ages 2-18, and adults in styles ranging from ballet, Pointe, tap, Acrobatics, Tumbling, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Technique, Strength + Conditioning, hip hop, improv and conditioning for dancers.

What I saw at the recital this weekend was the outcome of a totally unique environment that allows each student to have their own individual experience as part of a group that offers them trust and security. While it is beautiful to celebrate one another’s differences, what I witnessed is that at Lucky Star, your differences don’t define you. You are just YOU and that’s all you need to be. You’re not too tall or too short, too thin or too curvy, too weak or too bulky. You’re not “this type but not that type” of dancer. Your destiny isn’t predetermined because you aren’t the most flexible or you don’t have high arches in your feet. You’re not too old for a beginner class, you’re not too young to dance with students at your skill level. No one tells you, “you can’t.” You set your goals, your teachers help you chart a course to achieve them and your fellow students cheer you on—they pick you up when you fall, they celebrate when you succeed. There is growth, there are setbacks; it’s a journey not a fast-track to your destination. And the focus is always on your continuous improvement. Congratulations Miss Bri and your staff.
